Previously only found in the historic concert halls of the Copenhagen music venue, Vega, the VLA26 Vega Chair is now put into production at Carl Hansen & Søn, in partnership with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.Designed in the 1950s, the reissued chair is a modernist masterpiece. Profiling Vilhelm Lauritzen’s signature aesthetic, the functionalist design appears effortlessly simple yet is imbued with character. Well-proportioned for comfort, its back curves to embrace the sitter. Expertly crafted in wood and steel, optional upholstery on the seat and back up the comfort level while elegant wooden feet lend an artisanal feel to the stackable design.
